Elite Paintball Guns

This is not one of the best looking jerseys I’ve seen. It looks more like a sweater to me, kinda ugly one. And it’s not only the design of the JT Team 07 that I don’t like. There is actually nothing special in it at all. Not that the other jerseys are special, but at least they have what’s necessary for a good paintball jersey – comfort, padding, looks. And those are the things that are missing here. I don’t know why they decided to go with the box cut design, but I don’t think it’s the most comfortable one, and it sure does not look good. And if you’re gonna make it wide and spacey at least put some padding on. There is absolutely none. There’s only one good thing that comes from that – venting, but still. See the features:
• JT only uses specifically engineered fabrics for your athletic needs. It wicks away moisture and keeps you drier and cooler in all weather

• The generous box cut design combined with mesh sides and under sleeve venting makes this Team jersey the coolest available

This is probably gonna be the only negative jersey review, but the JT Team 07 jersey is definitely not something I’ll buy. If it was cheap I may have thought about it, but at a price of $39.94 it is definitely out of my list. I’m sure there are gonna be people out there that are gonna like it – they can choose from black, grey, urban camo and desert camo as colors. But the way I see it, there are so many better made and looking jerseys out there for half the price, so there’s no point of spending your money on this particular one.

This is a jersey made for woodsball play. Its digi camo pattern makes it very useful when you’re trying to stay invisible. It’s gonna be kinda weird f you decide to wear it for something other than woodsball, but if you like it why not. Besides its pattern it is also pretty well equipped for that woodsball play – the elbows are extremely well padded and it works awesome when you roll, dive, and shoot from the prone position. The venting is also something I should praise – very nicely done, but only for summer days. When the winter comes you may wanna wear something in addition to the jersey. Well, guess it’s time for the features:
• Effective tactical digi-camo pattern
• High neckline to protect against neck shots
• Ergonomic elbow padding for rolling, diving, and shooting from the prone position
• Super cool football mesh undarm
• Shoulder padding for increased comfort with tactical vests
It does come a little pricy - $54.95, but it’s a Tippman and you know they make good products. The thing is very, very durable and it is gonna last for a long time. If you’re a woodsball player and haven’t tried a digi camo jersey, you’ve missed out. Try one, who knows your game may get a little bit better. The jersey’s worthy. I’m not gonna mention other patterns as there are none, but this one should be good enough, although they did emphasized on the green, so I guess it’s gonna be kinda pointless to wear it in the winter.

Guess there was a reason for the Fighter 03 to be lacking that padding everyone’s so persistent about. And the reason should be the Defender jersey – another jersey in the Smart Parts collection. The Defender is something like an upgrade for the Fighter 3 although it’s not continuing the name. It has similar design, but much better looking just like an upgrade should be, there is also a change in the collar – it is more V shaped than the with the Fighter 3. But the biggest difference is in the padding as I already mentioned – there is the elbow padding and some shoulder one as well. And all the other good stuff are kept, so don’t worry about that. Check the Defender features:

• Padded shoulders
• Padded and reinforced elbows
And as to the price – it is just a little bit higher than the Fighter 3 one, but this is a newer and upgraded model so it was expected. The Defender costs $29.50 which again puts it in the lower end of my price chart. So in conclusion – this is the Fighter 3 upgrade and no one can convince me in the opposite. The colors stay the same though (which is not bad at all) – blue, red and grey. Anyways, this is a great jersey for a great price. And now both camps – those who like padding and those who don’t – can be happy. The first ones can get the Defender and the second ones – the Fighter. No losers in the situation

And if the Eclipse Distortion 08 jersey was between the priciest jerseys out there, the Fighter 3 definitely keeps the low end of that list. This time like just a few others I’m gonna start with the price – the Fighter 3 costs only $24.95, but is indeed a good jersey to play with. It can’t compete with something like Dye, but it has its strengths. Just like the Distortion 07 it is very light, again because of the lack of padding. It does have padded elbow area, but it’s not that thick and it is only there. Other than that it is a good jersey – it’s very comfortable, nicely vented, durable and awesome looking. And I wasn’t right comparing it to Dye when I have to compare it to Planet Eclipse Distortion 07 as they are somehow the same. Check this one’s features:

• Sublimated graphics
• Airflow lining
• Padded reinforced elbow
The main differences are in the design – I personally prefer this one much, much better – it is nice, simple and sleek. The padded areas are different, but both absolutely not enough for those of you who like padded jerseys. And one more mistake of mine – it’s not the design that’s the biggest difference, it’s the price. The Fighter 3 is twice as cheaper as the Distortion 07 is. It is equally good though. And if you don’t have the money to spend for the Distortion 07, spend them for the Fighter 3 – you won’t regret it.

Now that’s a design I can call really good one. Not that the Distortion 07 one was that bad, but as I said it was a little bit colorful for me. This one however keeps the main design accents (like logos and imprints), but with the use of darker colors kinda dull things out, making the jersey look absolutely great. It is the 07 updated version, which means that it keeps all the 07 good qualities and bring out some more new ones.  I’m not gonna repeat the entire review all over again, but will add up just the new stuff – they’ve changed the design (as you can see) (great move in my opinion), and they’ve added some more padding that was kinda lacking in the previous release, and the price of course. They’ve kept the features the same though so if you’ve read the 07 ones you may just skip those:

Not too many changes, but it’s because the 07 didn’t need that much of an upgrade. They do added some more shades though – beside the grey, grey/red and grey/blue, now you can also get brown/yellow and red/gold (both looking very good). As I said the price changed, too. The Distortion 08 costs $59.99 which puts it between the expensive jerseys in my list. If you have the money this is the choice you should make, if you don’t and you can wait…wait, it’s gonna get cheaper with the time. If you can’t wait and need a new jersey – get the Distortion 07 version or a Dye C6 if you need the padding. But this, too is a jersey well worth the money you’re paying for it.

The Distortion 07 jersey can fairly compete with both Dye and Empire jerseys. It is one really well made product, but who doubt that since we’re talking about Planet Eclipse. The jersey is well designed although it’s a little too colorful for me, but again the personal opinion plays a big role here. Many people like it and I respect that. The main advantage the jersey has is that it is very (and I mean that), very light. It’s lighter than any Dye and any Empire. Of course that comes at a price and this time price is padding. The Distortion 07 has some padding on the forearm, but there’s absolutely none on the elbow and shoulder area. This goes both ways again – good and bad. Believe it or not, but there are players out there, who think padding is just a useless weight – if you’re one of them this is definitely the jersey for you. It is made out of two material and they both feel great to the body. It is one really comfortable shirt. Check the given features:

The venting is also very good (especially with the lack of padding). Another think that players define as great is the cuffs. They fit tight around your wrist and don’t allow the sleeves moving up when you move your arms. The price is normal - $49.98. We’ve seen cheaper and pricier so I put that somewhere in between. But if you do some digging around you can probably find it cheaper. Although this price is ok and well worth it. As to the shades you don’t get much of an option, but you still have some – blue/grey, red/grey and grey/grey. It is a nicely build jersey that works great with the other Distortion equipment – you won’t regret getting it.

If you’ve read the Empire Invert pants reviews you probably already know what my opinion to the Invert 08 SE jersey is. Again this is supposed to be some upgraded version of the Invert SS, but just like with the pants the only thing they’ve changes is the design. Oh yes, and the price, too. So I don’t think it is even necessary to make the same review all over again. And again just like with the pants the design they’ve “upgraded” I find worse. I’ll give you the features again, but if you’ve already read the SS review you can just skip it.

And the price is 10 bucks up – again just like with the pants- at a total of $49.95. Do you want to guess the colors, I bet you’ll be 90% right as there’s one more addition. So the shades are – Digi blue camo, Digi red camo, Digi urban camo, Digi woodland camo and the addition of US Army Digi camo. This is all I’m gonna say.

The Invert SS is a nice jersey for even a nicer price. It looks really good and for the price you pay you get a pretty good jersey although there are better ones out there. The Invert SS just like every other jersey out there is padded on the elbows, shoulders and your stomach area, but some players complain that the padding is not thick enough and you do need some more protection if you think of sliding and crawling a lot. But the padding does reduce the pain when hit in those areas, so it is something, right? The material the jersey is made of is very light and may not look stable, but I haven’t heard anyone complaining from rips so I guess that qualify the Invert SS as a durable jersey. The venting is great as the jersey has two huge sections of big wide open mesh that start from under the armpit and go all the way down. It keeps you cool even in the hottest days, but there’s a catch – those spaces covered with mesh kinda oblige you to wear a t-shirt under the jersey because if you don’t you’re pretty exposed before everyone in the field and basically begging them to try and shoot you there to see if they can leave an imprint with the net. And another reason for wearing t-shirt underneath is that the padding material is kinda irritating to the skin. So check the features, before we continue:

As I said it’s a pretty good jersey for its price which is $39.98. and if you have the matching pants it’s for sure you’ll look great. One more thing – get a size or two up of what you’re wearing as some people say it shrinks when washed. Colors – blue, red, urban camo and woodland camo…it’s not much but they all look awesome. So as a conclusion – it’s not the best shirt out there, but it’s worth its price. Still if you’re just looking for a jersey and not matching it to some pants or other apparel I’ll advise you to get the Dye C6 which is at the exact same price. Yes, the Invert SS is newer, but the C6 is definitely better.

The Hybrid killer much resembles the Dye C6 jersey we’re gonna talk about very soon. Just by mentioning Dye you should know that it’s a product adored by the players, especially when I tell you that it’s cheaper than the Dye C6 jersey. The Hybrid jersey looks nice although it’s way too colorful for my taste. But I can’t deny that the black, grey and white combination does look nice. Other than looking good the jersey has anything else you can expect from it. It is well padded – again where you need it most – at the elbows and shoulders, but it’s not heavy. It is actually very light and comfortable. It also nicely vented although some players complain that it can get a little hot at some point. The price for this one is $39.98 which is not bad although you can find cheaper ones with the same characteristics. What lacks here is the color option. Basically you get the only black/grey/white design. But it does look good. And at the end I know that’s a review which resembles the others very much, but the jerseys reviewed are almost equally good. At the end it’s just a matter of personal choice which one you will get. Just don’t forget the other matching apparel – sometimes that’s where the weak spots are.

The Evil 06 gets great reviews from the players that use it. It’s not some expensive jersey, but it is said to be as good as the more expensive ones. It looks really good and according to them is also very comfortable. It is padded on the elbows and the shoulders so you can take hits without the fear of getting hurt. The padding also helps when sliding. The jersey is nicely vented, but many people share that when it gets cool outside you can’t rely on it to keep you warm. Check its features before we continue:

The Evil 06 has front pockets which is a nice add to the design as they are comfortable and can keep your hands warm when you’re not in a game. As I said it’s not expensive – it costs $29.98 which is absolutely bearable. It comes in blue, grey and red. It’s the perfect fit for the Evil 06 pants. It’s a jersey you won’t regret having. And for the money you have to pay for it is just the perfect choice you have on the market right now.
