Empire Fuel Fixed Air System

Order your cheap Empire Fuel Fixed Air System from here.

empire-fuel-fixed-air-system.JPG

The other Empire tank I think you should know about is the Fuel Fixed Air. It’s relatively cheaper than the previous one reviewed, but it’s pretty much as good. It’s nice and light, very consistant and holds a great amount of air. You can run through it about 1400 shots with no problems.  This is an excellent tank for the front, mid player. It’s small and easy to maneuver with. It can also easily take a good punishment from dives and bumping into bunkers. Probably the greatest feature it has is that when the tank has no air in it, you can unscrew the reg and carry it separately. That’s very convenient for travel and other needs such as replacing o-rings. Here are the features:

•    Stainless steel chassis
•    Step cut fill nipple back-check - puts an end to leaks and stops the “stuck back checks”
•    Shut off pin with bonded rubber seal thwarts extrusion
•    Direct flow internal piston creates the industry’s very best flow rate, and averts “shoot down”
•    Sintered filters at fill point and base regulator stop contiminates before they can stop you
•    Balanced design maintains rock steady output pressure for ultra consistent velocity
•    Quick switch gauge and fill nipple design with o-rings create a reliable seal without thread sealants
•    On/off knob can be easily operated while under pressure

There’s just one thing to put as a downside, but it really isn’t that big of a deal - when you first use the tank you’ll notice that it takes a little longer to fill than most other tanks, but once you keep filling the tank the fill speed increases so you don’t have to worry about that too much. As to the price – you can find the Fuel Fixed Air System for about $230, which as I already said is relatively cheaper than the other Empire tank I reviewed. If you can afford something like that you should definitely consider getting it. Empire is a company worth trusting and I don’t think you’ll have any problems with their products.

Empire Fuel Adjustable Air System

Order your cheap Empire Fuel Adjustable Air System from here.

empire-fuel-adjustable-air-system.JPG

People qualify the Empire Fuel Adjustable Air System as the best adjustable output system on the market right now. And they’re right. It’s really one of the greatest out there, but you have to be willing to pay the price for it. And unfortunately the price is not something anyone can afford. The thing is pushing near $320, but if you can afford it you should certainly consider getting it. It will do nothing but make you happy. The system is big, but very light. It’s extremely well balanced and very dependable.  The on/off valve is easy to use. The output adjustment is a piece of cake. The shootdown is not something you should worry about even at over 20bps. Leaks are something very rare, too. The gauges are nice and easy to read. It’s simply a great system. One that you won’t regret buying. Here are it’s features:

1.Stainless steel chassis
2.Step cut fill nipple back-check - puts an end to leaks and stops the “stuck back checks”
3.Shut off pin with bonded rubber seal thwarts extrusion
4.Direct flow internal piston creates the industry’s very best flow rate, and averts “shoot down”
5.Sintered filters at fill point and base regulator stop contiminates before they can stop you
6.Balanced design maintains rock steady output pressure for ultra consistent velocity
7.Quick switch gauge and fill nipple design with o-rings create a reliable seal without thread sealants
8.On/off knob can be easily operated while under pressure

The only tiny bugging thing is that the Empire Fuel Adjustable Air System is very slow filling, but that’s for a reason of course - it can help prevent abuse on the burst disk. There’s really nothing else to be put as a downside. Beside its price of course, but that’s something we already went through – having the best comes at a certain price.

Dye Throttle Adjustable Air System

Order your cheap Dye Throttle Adjustable Air System from here.

dye-throttle-adjustable-air-system.jpg

With all the variety on the market it’s only natural to wonder which one is the best air system for you. If you really can’t make up your mind, let me give you an easy solution – Dye is the way to go. There are many, many other good systems, but when it comes to the best Dye is the name that always comes in mind first. The Dye Throttle Adjustable is nothing but confirmation to what I said above. The thing performs extremely well and even at the highest rates of fire there is no drop off at all. Also the recharge rate is just incredible and (most importantly) very reliable. One of the most noticeable strengths is the titanium design that makes the system super light. You’ll love this thing, there’s no doubt about that. Here is the manufacturer’s description about it:

“The new 4500 psi adjustable Throttle Titanium air delivery system is the ultimate in air management technology. Made from a solid bar of 6AL-4V titanium, the Throttle 45 TI will perform like no other air system on the market. Fully adjustable range of operation and balanced uniform air movement provide consistent shots at low operating pressures. The Throttle remains consistent even as high as 30 cfm.”

All the Dye Throttle tanks come with a factory preset of 850 PSI. The tanks are only available as 4500 PSI systems in four different bottle sizes:
• 45 CI bottle, great for front players due to its small compact size. It will get you about 800 shots on most markers.
• 70 CI bottle, great for front, mid and back players. It will get you about 1600 shots on most markers.
• 71 CI bottle, great for mid and back players. It will get you about 1700 shots on most markers.
• 91 CI bottle, great for recreational and scenario players. It will get you about 2100 shots on most markers.

The Dye Throttle Adjustable costs around $239.95 irregardless which bottle configuration you need. That’s not cheap, but I think it’s just the right price for this system. If you get the chance to try it I’m pretty sure you’ll be getting it soon. It’s not a system (or a brand) that will disappoint you.

DraXxuS DXS Nitrogen Systems

Order your cheap DraXxuS DXS Nitrogen Systems from here.

draxxus-dxs-nitrogen-systems.JPG

Another Draxxus tank that deserves your attention. The DXS Nitrogen System is great. It recharges fast and never starves for air. Its gauge is really accurate so you will always know how much air you have left. The reg is a PMI knockoff, recharges at about 30 times a second, which you have to admit is not bad at all. The thing is light (maybe not the lightest, but noticeably lighter than many others). It is normal sized tank, but still very comfortable to play with. Features:

•    Light, compact
•    Output pressure is preset to 850psi.
    68ci 4500psi -1100 shots with a full fill
    48ci 3000psi - 600 shots with a full fill.
•     Mechanical gauge
•     Certified fill nipple
•     5 year hydro test date

It’s not something that shines over the most expensive tanks out there, but it sure ahs its advantages. It’s not a problem causing tank and leaks are not an often thing. it’s pretty reliable and very nice looking. It costs around $200 (don’t pay more for it) which is pretty reasonable price I think. You’ll certainly need a cover for it, but that’s easy to find. I’ll say the NXE Dynasty cover is the perfect one for it since many of the others will be a little loose. Anyway it’s a great product for its price, but if you can spend more money and get one of the most expensive stuff do it.

DraXxuS Carbon Fiber 48/4500 HPA Tank

Order your cheap DraXxuS Carbon Fiber 48/4500 HPA Tank from here.

draxxus-carbon-fiber-484500-hpa-tank.jpg

If you liked the CP Air tank from the previous review it’s quite possible that you like the DraXxuS Carbon Fiber 48/4500 HPA Tank, too. They’re basically the same products, only a little bit different, but we’ll talk more about that difference later in the review. I’ll start with the positive things about this tank. First and foremost it is very small and light. It also has a constant out put pressure and is very reliable and problem free product. Being small doesn’t mean you can’t get plenty of shots per fill out of it. Believe it or not, but given 1000spf sometimes may even be exceeded. Here are its features:

Features:
•    Light, compact and will give you up to 1000 shots with a full fill.
•    Output pressure is preset to 450psi.
•    Mechanical gauge
•    Certified fill nipple
•    5 year hydro test date

So for the differences - the DXS and CP 48’s are actually the exact same tank. It’s the reg that makes the difference. The reg of the Draxxus is a little longer and heavier than the one CP has which makes the entire tank a tad heavier and longer as well. That’s not too big of a deal if you ask me, especially if take the performance under consideration. Not to mention that the price of the Draxxus is about $190. This is something like $60 cheaper than the CP Air. If you can deal with the tiny weight difference the Draxxus is the tank to go for. After all $60 is $60.

Custom Products CP Air

Order your cheap Custom Products CP Air from here.

custom-products-cp-air.JPG

Here’s the next great air system I want to show you. The CP Air is a system you’ll simply fall for. The thing is very dependable and consistent.  It’s extremely light (for those who find the weight a problem) and smaller than most of the systems on the market. Smaller meaning shorter as it’s just big enough for giving you plenty of shots per fill. It’s strongly made and very nice looking. Here’s he manufacturer’s description about it:

“It’s finally here!!! The air system you’ve been waiting for. The CP Air combines everything you’ve been looking for in an air system and puts it together in one ultra light package. Super High Flow Rate, Fast Recharge rate, Superior reliability and on top of everything it’s rebuildable. All of this in a design that is lighter than the competition. What more could you look for in an air system? The CP Air Combines it all and then backs it with the commitment to be at every PSP and NPPL to offer full factory support when you need it most. We took the same reliable technology that you have come to know and trust from the CP In-Line Regulator and created the ultimate bottle regulator.”

As a downside I can point out the fact that a cover is very difficult to find and at rare occasions leaks may occur. The cover problem can be solved with a little bit of a web search and the leaking problem is absolutely fixable. Other than that it’s a great system. It’s a little pricy, but totally worthy. You can find it for about $250 and if you can afford it you should not hesitate getting it. It won’t disappoint you.

Crossfire Stub Air System

Order your cheap Crossfire Stub Air System from here.

crossfire-stub-air-system.jpg

Many of you may not like how this tank looks, but personally I think stubbies look awesome on guns. You’ll really love it, especially if you’re a front player. But looks is not the best thing in this tank. Its performance is definitely worth mentioning. The consistency of this Crossfire is very good and drop offs is not something you have to worry about. The tank is also really easy to use, just attach the fill nipple to the fill station and the tank is filled. Then just screw the tank into the asa of your marker and you’re ready to go. Even if it looks small you should know that you can easily get 1300+ shots per fill with it, which by all means is great. Also the tank has an extremely large and easy to read gauge which is also one of the most accurate gauges on the market right now. Here’s the manufacturer’s description for this tank:

“70 ci carbon fiber-wrapped tank with regulator, 5 year hydro. This tank is about 1/2in shorter than a 45/4500. Compact size for the front player and plenty of capacity to play middle one. Weight 3.05, diameter 4.25, length 10.5.”

The only downside I can think of is the weight. It’s a little bit heavier than some other tanks, but that’s something you can easily get used to…all you need is practice. And also, even though these tanks are really strong, I highly recommended a tank cover. After all you pay a certain amount of money for it…you don’t want it scratched at the end of the first day, right? As to the amount of money already mentioned – you can find this thingy for about $170 which is a well deserved price for the performance level you’re getting.

 crossfire-skull-fixed-high-pressure-68ci-4500psi.jpg

Another Crossfire system at your consideration. Many of the things from the previous review will be repeated, but I wanted to give you this one as an option too. It deserves your consideration just as much as the previous one. It is light, it’s durable, it’s easy to maintain and the 1000+ shots per fill given in the features below are not just brag.  Also its pressure guage is huge, as is the current pressure arrow - making the thing very easy to read. You’ll like it very much. Here are the features:

•    Carbon fiber bottle! 5 year hydro test date!
•    Gives you over 1000+ shots per fill!
•    Includes a fiber wrapped cylinder with a regulator set to 800psi output

You can get this Crossfire for about $170 which again is a great price for an air system. Especially one that’s not gonna cause problems during playtime. It’s very dependable and tough made system. It looks good and performs great. You won’t be disappointed of it.

Crossfire Air System

Order your cheap Crossfire Air System from here.

crossfire-air-system.jpg

The Crossfire is probably the people’s favorite system. It just covers everything a player want from an air system. It’s really easy to use, just fill up the tank appropriately and then screw it into the ASA of your marker. The capacity is awesome. Consistency is not a problem. The thing is pretty light and very durable. It even looks good, but tank wouldn’t be such a bad idea. See what the given features are and we’ll move on:

Features:

•    850 psi fixed output
•    manufactured to CGA & ASTM
•    high flow design
•    lightning fast regulation when firing

So what we have above is pretty much the perfect air system, but the Crossfire has one more advantage before the others on the market - it’s cheap. Prices for it start at $95 for 47ci and are $169 for 68ci, $179 for 88ci and $189 for 114ci. I don’t think there’s a better deal than this one. I won’t say the thing is problem free. Just like with every other system leaks can occur, but everything is fixable and it sure won’t hurt as much as if you’re getting a leak from a $250 or up air system. The Crossfire deserves your attention, by all means. If you can’t afford something from the most expensive air systems, the Crossfire is the one to turn to.

CenterFlag Dynaflow Air System

Order your cheap CenterFlag Dynaflow Air System from here.

centerflag-dynaflow-air-system.jpg

Centerflag makes well engineered products and backs them with great support. The Dynaflow systems are among the best for durability and recharge rate. These are great air systems. The Dynaflow is light and compact and people are crazy about it. It has easily adjustable output and excellent on/off. Still the best think in it is that the gas forwards directly to the bottle instead of going through the internals of the regulator causing dirt, other objects and temperature changes of the internal parts. The info about it given by the manufacturer is not much, but you should know this is one great tank to have. Here’s the info:

“Adjustable regulator from CenterFlag products. Ingenious new valve design virtually eliminates shootdown. (patent applied for)”

There’s just one downside I can point out - Dynaflow’s are designed to increase the output pressure as the tank becomes low on air allowing the reg to maintain a fast recharge. This helps keep fps consistant during rapid fire with a low tank, but can cause increased fps over a one shot chrono on your way off the field. Better HPR regulation between the Dynaflow and the LPR may be needed for some markers to prevent fps increases on low tanks. Other than that the thing is amazing and you’ll love it. The prices of it vary, but you can get it new for about $350. It’s not cheap, but you know you’re getting one of the best systems on the market right now.
