The most commonly given description for the Tippmann A-5 Stealth Gun is that it is great for Milsim/woodsball games and is good for new ballers, because of reliability and ease of basic maintenance. Although it’s not the best gun out there many people like it because of its looks, accuracy, range of fire, durability, speed any more advantages it possesses. The gun is also pretty upgradeable and I know this is something that pleases many people because stock is not the best way to use it. Check out the A-5 Stealth specifications as given:

“The Tippmann A-5 Stealth Marker is top of the line. The complaints about the gun are mostly about its weight. The gun itself is not light and adding up those extras is definitely not making it lighter. All you can hope is at the end just to get used to it being heavy and not notice it anymore. Another downside is it being loud. But this is scaring only half of the people…the other half are only happy with the noise. Some call it an air hog and it is when using an HPA, get a bigger CO2 tank and you’ll be ok. As to the price – the gin costs $379. I find it a little expensive given the circumstances that the normal A-5 with E-grip (many woodsball players find the E-grip totally useless) costs $100 less and doesn’t differ that much. If you have the extra money spend it one the Stealth…if not you’ll be just as happy with the regular A-5.

The Triumph XT is another member in the Tippmann family. Now, you know my opinion on Tippmann guns…and it’s not only mine it’s almost everybody’s opinion that Tippmann makes good guns…great guns even. They’re always reliable, nicely built; strong, accurate…you name it. Now, I don’t know what went wrong here the Triumph XT is getting a lot of negative vibe. The mass opinion is that the gun is just a plastic crap with Tippmann interior. That’s a little bit too much I’ll say, because even though the gun is with plastic construction it tends to hold just fine and still shoots good. It is really light weighted for a Tippmann (yeah, well plastic isn’t that heavy) and really well balanced. Mechanically it’s very similar to the Tippmann 98 so if you know that gun you won’t be expecting poor performance. As a Tippmann again you’ll probably want to change the stock barrel the minute you get it. As to the efficiency surprisingly the gun is not such a gas hog as the others in its family…which is great, right. Still the best part her is that it’s cheap - its price tag is $89.00. Check some more features:

If you’re a beginner in that sport, or you wanna get a present for your kid and you don’t wanna dive in the deep with pricy guns this is the one for you. For the money you pay you get a pretty good deal. Compared to the other same priced guns on the market the Triumph is totally outclassing them. Still if you’re looking for a gun good enough for advanced player this is definitely not what you’re looking for. Still, if you’ve decided to get one of those there’s a package you may wanna check out. It’s the Tippmann Triumph XT Paintball Gun Power Pack and it includes the gun plus:

So not to repeat the same review when showing you the next marker, that is the Tippmann Triumph eXT Electronic Paintball Gun, I’ll just say (if you haven’t guessed it yet) that the only difference here beside the price of $119.00 is the Electronic trigger with four different firing modes. Other than that the review, just like the gun is absolutely the same. And again if this is the one you’ve finally stopped your choice at you may consider getting it in a package:  Tippmann Triumph eXT Electronic Paintball Gun Power Pack is priced $149.00 and contains the gun plus:
• Anti Fog Goggles
• 9 oz Co2 Tank
• 200 Round Hopper
• Zephyr Barrel Condom

The X7 is not a exception form the Tippmann great markers. All the things we have already said about Tippmann guns apply here 100%. It’s an amazingly reliable marker and you know you can count on it no matter the situation. It’s really well built and handles a lot of banging and dropping so you don’t have to worry for breaking or malfunctioning. Another thing that’s true for all the Tippman guns is that they are really easy to upgrade and have a lot of parts available on the market if you decide to do so. And again Tippmann markers are said to be in the lead of not chopping balls during games. So what differs the X7 from the other Tippmann markers? Probably the boxier and bigger look, if there’s anything else you’ll see it in the features:
• The most customizable marker ever made with a thousand different looks
• Magnesium receiver is extremely lightweight and durable
Cyclone EP (Enhanced Performance) system feeds up to 20bps
• Air-thru stock compatible system eliminates gas line under the marker
• Low profile, offset hopper for clear site line

As I said the gun is a little big bigger than the other markers and is quite heavy too so if you’re into speed and light weight you should look for something else. It’s also a loud gun but some find that a strength. One thing you should consider changing when buying this is the stock barrel…we all know how things are there, but stock barrels are an issue with probably 90% of the guns so it’s not just a Tippmann trade mark. The gun costs $299.99 and as you can see is not the cheapest one. But the gun deserves its price and if you try it you won’t be disappointed. The same review goes for the a little bit stock upgraded Tippmann X7 Response Trigger Paintball Gun. All the other Tipmann markers had that upgrade and this one is not a difference. The X7 with response trigger is absolutely the same except for that it includes Response Trigger - a patented rapid air-assisted firing system that can shoot up to 15bps without batteries. This stock upgrade will cost you 49.96 bucks more as the total price is $349.95. If you like the gun to be faster you should make that $49.96 sacrifice. So what’s the other stock upgrade that the other Tippmann guns had? The e-grip. Do you think this one doesn’t? Of course it does - Tippmann X7 E-Grip Paintball Gun So again it’s just the same as the Basic version except that it includes e-grip - the e-grip can shoot up to 20bps and features 5 firing modes including semi auto, turbo, 3 shot safety burst, auto response, and full safety auto. Requires 9 volt battery not included. And the price is $399.95. So if you want multiple firing modes the e-grip is what you’re looking for. And the similarities don’t stop here. There are some packages you can choose from for this gun, too. If you want to skip the separate looking for equipment and decide to get a package instead of the gun itself see what choice you have (starting from the cheapest to the priciest):
Tippmann X7 Complete Silver Package

So you’ll ask what’s the difference between 98 custom and the 98 custom pro. The second one is the newest version of the first one and a smart thinking of the Tippmann Company. If you’re a classic lover get the 98 custom version but if you like to be in track with the novelty you should consider the 98 custom pro. It’s a typical Tippmann with all it strengths and weaknesses and the only things that distinguish the custom and the custom pro are:
• Longer 11 inch anodized barrel for longer range
• Durable finish
• Single fire mode
• Redesigned drop forward for maximum comfort and reduced player profile
And the price being $159.00. so my advice is – if you’re looking for a gun to buy instead of getting the 98 custom get the newer one. But if you’ve already gotten the 98 custom don’t be disappointed. It is a great gun, too. And since the 98 custom has its camo version Tippmann decided to please you with the same one in the Pro version, too. So you can get this one for $189.95. Unfortunately they’ve decided to spare you the 98 Custom Pro with the response trigger, but still left you with the choice for the Tippmann 98 Custom Pro Paintball Gun with E-grip so here’s what the Pro with the E-grip features:

Here’s another piece of the Tippmann arsenal. Being a typical Tippmann gun the 98 custom is one of the most durable, dependable guns out there. Many people think that it’s a great beginner’s gun, and they are right, but with a little upgrading the 98 custom makes great primary gun as well. And what do we know about upgrading a Tippmann – it’s as easy as it will ever be. There are numerous upgrades available for it and at a normal price too. Still when you get your gun don’t rush into upgrades before even trying it first. Even without them the gun works perfectly. It is highly unusual for it to chop balls, no matter how strange that sounds it is true…many of the other guns will chop like crazy, but not your Tippmann – it’s one of its biggest strengths. As is its nice look, accuracy and price. Check the features:

So about the flaws…you know it has to have some otherwise it’s not interesting. Now, when we talk about stock parts you know they usually suck…Tippmann’s not a difference. The stock barrel it comes with is pretty much a must change. It’s not like a huge flaw, but still is worth mentioning. Another thing is its maintenance. Don’t get me wrong the gun’s not difficult to maintain, actually it’s not difficult at all once you get used to it, but until then be very careful when taking it apart as there are some springs that tend to fly around like crazy. Another thing is that many players find it a little long and a little loud but that’s something you get used to after some time. I guess that’s pretty much it. Back to the good things…the gun is priced $139.00. It’s not like you can find anything better for that price. It’s simply cheap. Add up the upgrades, it will be cheap again. Why do you think many of the field owners use it as rental…they can afford it and it can take a lot of beating up without breaking. It’s a great gun to have. A gun you’re not gonna spent all your money for but you know you can always rely on. And if you like you can spend 30 more bucks and get it in its camo version; it’s a little bit more pricy but at least is something different. And here’s another thing for you: for its 20th anniversary Tippmann has come up with this model in mirrored black. There are only 3000 markers made so if you wanna piece of that I suggest you hurry. And every individual marker comes with certificate of authenticity and is individually numbered. It also have 20th anniversary commemorative logos and every one has gold plated hardware and gas line. It’s priced $149.99. Interested? So back to the review…or actually in order to basically spare you the same review for just one upgrade I’ll simply add things to the same review. I’m talking about the trigger difference. The 98 custom comes with stock trigger some of you may feel slow so Tippmann decided to upgrade the gun for you. So for 40 more bucks or total of $179.00 you can get the Tippmann 98 Custom ACT Response Paintball Gun with the only difference to the other being:
• The Response Trigger system is patented for rapid air assisting firing 15+ balls per second.
